记者从内蒙古卫生厅了解到，5月18日至20日，中国西部四省儿童微量营养素补充项目工作考察组，以卫生部妇社司儿卫处处长曹彬、国家妇幼保健中心儿童保健部和美国亨氏公司领导、专家一行5人，对内蒙古呼伦贝尔市莫力达瓦旗儿童微量营养素补充项目进展情况进行实地考察。

　　项目指导委员会领导首先在莫力达瓦旗妇幼保健所听取了莫力达瓦旗关于中国西部四省儿童微量营养素补充项目工作进展情况的汇报，查阅了相关资料，随后到莫力达瓦旗阿尔拉乡、登特科镇两个卫生院和所辖村卫生室及农户家进行现场检查、访视，实地查看了亨氏营养包的储存、发放、登记流程及健康教育效果；同医务人员、防保人员及儿童家长了解了微量营养素补充剂喂养情况，并对喂养中出现的一些问题进行了讲解和指导。

　　卫生部曹彬处长对莫力达瓦旗儿童微量营养素补充项目实施情况给予充分的肯定，政府重视，工作扎实，流程清晰，宣传有利，受益群众满意，并提出两点意见：一、要将儿童微量营养素补充项目做好做实，做得有成效。完善工作程序，注重效果评价，为卫生部今后扩大此项目覆盖面提供经验；二、加强健康教育宣传，通过项目实施，向基层卫生人员和儿童家长宣传婴幼儿营养需求，传授如何预防小儿贫血和科学喂养知识。

    此次中国西部四省十三个县儿童微量营养素补充项目中，我区莫力达瓦旗作为此项目中第一个试点县接受了检查。通过检查，卫生部妇社司领导及美国亨氏公司的负责人对莫力达瓦旗儿童微量营养素补充项目执行情况、实施效果给予了充分肯定。自治区卫生厅和呼伦贝尔市卫生局陪同领导就下一步儿童微量营养素补充项目工作的开展提出了具体落实意见。一是适时对呼伦贝尔市4个项目旗市进行指导，了解项目运行过程，发现问题，及时纠正。二是认真总结莫力达瓦旗项目工作经验，归纳提炼，形成科学、规范的项目操做程序。三是充分利用儿童微量营养素补充项目，广泛开展科学喂养宣传活动，改善不良生活习俗，提高儿童营养补充成份，促进儿童健康成长发育。

On-site Visit in Inner Mongolia for Micronutrient Program

    From May 18-20, led by Caobin, Director of the Division of Children’s Health, Department of Maternal and Child Health Care and Community Health, Ministry of Health, Department of Maternal and Child Health, National Center for Child Health and Heinz China, mission team of the Micronutrient program for children in four provinces in western China visited Molidawa autonomous county in Inner Mongolia to inspect the implementation of the program.

    Leaders from the steering committee listened to the working report of the Micronutrient program in the Molidawa and have done the onsite visit to the village hospitals, clinics and farmers’ home in Aerla and Dengteke county, inspecting the storage, distribution and registration procedure of the Nurturemate, effect of health education and the status of Nurturemate feeding. Meanwhile, they provided instructions helping settle the problems about feeding.

    Caobin, Director of the Division of Children’s Health, Ministry of Health, appraised the implementation status of the program and commented as following:

    First, to further improve the implementation of the program, improving the working procedure and pay attention to the effect evaluation which will help to collect relevant experience for the further expansion of this program.

    Second, enhance the training and education of health, promoting the nutrient needs knowledge of infant and children to parents and health workers, teaching them the knowledge of scientific feeding to prevent the anemia.

    The first trial county for this program in Molidawa has been inspected and the leaders praised the implementation and effect. Leaders from the Department of Health of Inner Mongolia commented as following:

    First, they will provide the guidance to the implementation of the program in time and to understand the problems arise and to settle them in time.

    Second, work out a systematic procedure for this kind of program from the experiences.

    Third, promote the scientific feeding through this program, correct the inappropriate living habits and improve the nutrients for children, helping them grow up healthily.
